The Liberals have rigged schools to all but shut out retirees from teaching. It's complete nonsense.
Possibly in your neck of the woods but not out here. Retirees actually have the advantage. They have other sources of income and so while they "student teach" and get paid nothing.. they still have income and do not need to supplement it with other jobs or need a spouse/roommates.
Retired folks could easily get the job if they were willing to meet the requirements set forth. Interesting how it is fine if 24-year-old woman jumps through all of the hoops.. it is not fun if you must know. But 52 year old retired man should just get a free pass.. interesting logic.
